About Our IBCLC

Meet Stefanie, BSN, RN, IBCLC & Owner of Milk Medic, LLC

Stefanie is a nursing graduate of The University of Memphis’ Loewenberg College of Nursing, and is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). She is the owner of Milk Medic.

Stefanie has worked in the medical field for 20 years. She has functioned as a unit coordinator, medical assistant, graduate nurse, registered nurse, certified lactation specialist and IBCLC. She has cared for many families on a mother/baby nursing unit, and has assisted with lactation needs in many areas of the hospital. She became an IBCLC in 2021, and has worked in private practice ever since.

On a personal note, Stefanie is the mother to 3 previous breastfed children. Her passion for breastfeeding was developed through her own struggles and triumphs during her breastfeeding journeys, as well as during her time spent encouraging & educating new families at the bedside.

Stefanie enjoys camping, cooking, flower gardening, podcast, traveling & quality time with family and friends. In her free time, she is an active member of her local church. She resides just north of Memphis with her husband (U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. retired & Purple Heart recipient), kiddos & Westie fur babies.

The newborn baby has only three demands. They are warmth in the arms of its mother, food from her breasts, and security in the knowledge of her presence. Breastfeeding satisfies all three.
