About Milk Medic
Our Story
Shan had a passion for helping new mothers navigate the challenges of breastfeeding and lactation management. She had a beautiful vision and worked diligently to make it a reality. She built a family "brand", created a social media presence, and most importantly, began serving clients in our communities from the comfort of their own homes.
Milk Medic was created in 2019, and was founded in 2020. Stefanie joined The Milk Medic in September of 2021, shortly after The Milk Medic served its very first patients in-home.
Since then, we've helped hundreds of mothers and babies in Memphis & surrounding areas. We have even assisted many of our established patients with their second AND third breastfeeding journeys!
The Milk Medic is proud to have gained clients simply by "word of mouth". We believe in building strong relationships with our clients, their babies & families, and in encouraging advocacy, meeting our families where they are in their feeding journeys, and providing exceptional education and care.
As our business thrived & roles changed, Stefanie gained ownership in January of 2024. Although under new ownership, our mission and values have remained the same.
